Clayton's writing focuses on the therapeutic effects of psychedelic drugs, the impact of climate change on human health, and the interdependence of the world around and within us. His work has been supported by grants from UC Berkeley and the National Institute for Healthcare Management. He has a medical degree from Columbia University, and completed residency training at Harvard. He is represented by Katie Cacouris of The Wylie Agency.
